DeepSeek Ignites the Global AI Ecosystem, Triggering Massive Demand for Private Deployments Among Enterprise Users

International Data Corporation (IDC) recently published an article titled “The Surge of DeepSeek: The Potential Impact of Large Models/Generative AI on the Market Ecosystem,” stating that the launch of the DeepSeek AI model in the Chinese market has caused a sensation in the large model/generative AI market. This has triggered a “new wave” across the entire AI industry ecosystem, from large model providers to infrastructure and platform suppliers. In its latest report, IDC MarketGlance: Overview of the China Generative AI Market, 1Q25 (February 2025), IDC divided the AI industry ecosystem into several layers: infrastructure, model, platform, application, and service layers.
